A poem by me.
The words you carelessly utter pierces my heart.
In pain I subdue my words.
For now silence is my answer.
Lest I bring upon me Allahs anger.
Thoughts I have many to express.
But translation to words I’m helpless.
I realise sins of past haunt me.
To Allah I plead guilty.
In prostration I seek His Mercy.
And I ask Him to forgive me.
Always has and always will be.
My Lord, there to guide & protect me.
His blessings knows no boundary.
With a heart in agony.
My tears roll silently.
Ya Rabbi, don’t desert me.
I pray for a path to clear.
And for the darkness of the mind to disappear.
For lost I am without you.
Regardless of differences, I will always love you.
